Incense Offering
In gratitude, we offer this incense throughout space and time to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
May it be fragrant as Earth herself, reflecting careful efforts, wholehearted awareness, and the fruit of understanding, slowly ripening.
May we and all beings be companions of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
May we awaken from forgetfulness and realize our true home.

Morning Chant
The Dharma body is shining brightly as the day dawns.
In stillness we sit, our hearts are at peace,
a smile is on our lips.
This is a new day. We vow to go through it in mindfulness.
So the sun of insight can rise, and shine in every direction.
Noble Sangha, diligently bring your minds into meditation.

Evening Chant
With posture upright and solid,
We are seated at the foot of the Bodhi tree.
Body, speech, and mind are one in stillness;
There is no more thought of right and wrong.
Our mind and body dwell in perfect mindfulness.
We rediscover our original nature,
leaving the shore of illusion behind.
Noble Sangha, diligently brings our minds into meditation.

The Three Refuges
I take refuge in the Buddha, the one who shows me the way in this life.
I take refuge in the Dharma, the way of understanding and of love.
I take refuge in the Sangha, the community that lives in harmony and awareness.
Dwelling in the refuge of Buddha, I clearly see the path of light and beauty in the world.
Dwelling in the refuge of Dharma, I learn to open many doors on the path of transformation.
Dwelling in the refuge of Sangha, shining light that supports me, keeping my practice free of obstruction.
Taking refuge in the Buddha in myself, I aspire to help all people recognize their own awakened nature, realizing the mind of love.
Taking refuge in the Dharma in myself, I aspire to help all people fully master the ways of practice and walk together on the path of liberation.
Taking refuge in the Sangha in myself, I aspire to help all people build fourfold communities, to embrace all beings and support their transformation.

Sharing the Merit
Reciting the sutras, practicing the way of awareness, gives rise to benefits without limit.
We vow to share the fruits with all beings.
We vow to offer tribute to parents, teachers, friends, and numerous beings who give guidance and support along the path.

Listening to the Bell
With body, speech and mind in perfect oneness,
I send my heart along with the sound of this bell.
May the hearers awaken from forgetfulness,
and transcend the path of anxiety and sorrow.
I listen, I listen this wonderful sound
brings me back to my true home.
May the sound of this bell penetrated deeply into the cosmos,
in even the darkest places, living beings hear it clearly,
so that understanding lights up their hearts and with out hardship,
they transcend the cycle of birth and death.
Listening to the bell,
I feel my afflictions begin to dissolve,
my mind becomes calm, my body relaxed,
and a smile is born upon my lips,
following the sound of the bell, my breath guides me back,
to the safe island of mindfulness.
In the garden of my heart, flowers of peace bloom in beauty.
The Universal Dharma Door is already open,
the sound of the rising tide is clear, and the miracle occurs,
a beautiful child is born in the heart of a lotus flower,
a single drop of this compassionate nectar,
is enough to bring back the spring to mountains and to rivers.
