OUR ASPIRATION

Joyful Mountain Sangha is an international online sangha in the Plum Village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Our aspiration is to cultivate mindfulness, understanding, and compassion together, through creating a sangha space that is trauma-informed, inclusive, and oriented towards social justice.

Answer the Call to Transform Suffering

Read by Thich Nath Hanh, chanted by brother Phap Niem. The creators of this audio track were Gary Malkin, the composer/arranger, producer, and collaborator Michael Stillwater. The work came from a CD/book called Graceful Passages: A Companion for Living and Dying, and it could be purchased by going to wisdomoftheworld.com.
"When we are part of a spiritual community, we have a lot of joy and can better resist the temptation to be overwhelmed by despair."
